Fees
School fees are inclusive of a nourishing morning snack for all children and a daily vegetarian lunch, prepared with care and intention, for all full-day programmes. Fees also cover a wide range of learning experiences that extend beyond the classroom, including time spent outdoors across our campus and participation in meaningful activities that support each child’s development.
All essential school supplies and materials are included, including those used in creative arts, handwork and practical subjects, ensuring children are fully supported in their learning without the need for additional costs.
Our fees are designed to provide families with clarity and peace of mind, reflecting the breadth and depth of the Marinela experience.

You select either the Barbadian Citizen or the International fee on the Student Application Form. No documentation is needed at that stage. Proof of Barbadian citizenship is provided and verified later, as part of the Welcome and Enrolment Pack. Where it cannot be provided, we correct the fee category before enrolment and payment are finalised.
School Fee payment options are as follows:
- Annually in advance (2% discount offered) payable by 1st August.
- Tuition Payments are made in three equal instalments and are due by 1st August, 1st December and 1st April by Bank Transfer / Standing Order.
- A 10% sibling discount applies automatically. See Siblings Fee Reduction below.
All fees shown are Per Term & Per Academic Year (in USD) and will be reviewed annually.

Acceptance Deposit Policy:
- A completed enrolment contract and deposit indicate that you have accepted your offer of enrolment. The deposit is not refundable under any circumstances and is due upon signing of the contract to reserve a place.
- A deposit equal to half of one term's standard tuition for the programme is required upon acceptance of a place for full-year enrolments. Short-term families are not required to pay this deposit. The deposit may be applied toward the last term's tuition at the school's discretion, and we kindly ask for one full term's notice should enrolment be cancelled. The deposit continues to roll forward each year the child remains with the school.
- Families enrolling for less than the full academic year (3 terms) may do so, whether for one term or two. Term tuition is charged at one third of the annual fee of the programme the child is enrolled in, plus a one-time short-term enrolment fee of USD 2,500. This applies to all programmes and to both International and Barbadian families. The one-time registration fee of USD 1,000 still applies, but short-term families are not required to pay the standard acceptance deposit.
- Families with more than one child enrolled at Marinela automatically receive a 10% reduction on tuition for the second and each subsequent child. The reduction applies to tuition only and does not extend to the one-time registration fee or optional extras.
- Early Drop-off is available from 7:30am for an additional fee of USD 550 per term.
- We require one full term’s notice in writing to withdraw your child from Marinela.
- If less than one term’s notice is given, a full term’s fee will still be charged.
