Our Campus

A Learning Environment Designed for Discovery

15 acres of natural beauty designed to inspire learning, creativity, and wellbeing.

Marinela, meaning “from the sea”, embodies our belief in the power of the natural world. We believe when children are connected to nature, the world opens around them and becomes their greatest teacher.

Nestled on 15 acres of lush tropical landscape on Barbados’ west coast, our school offers a learning environment where nature, creativity, and wisdom grow side by side. Surrounded by fruit orchards and majestic trees, our campus provides an inspiring space for children to explore, learn, and thrive.

Our thoughtfully designed school building features bright, open classrooms furnished with natural materials, along with specialised spaces.

Nourishment for the Whole Child

Our school menu is thoughtfully crafted to reflect our commitment to health, sustainability, and community. Through a variety of different vegan dishes, we aim to cultivate healthy eating habits and a lifelong preference for nourishing food.

  • Our sustainable, organic classroom vegetable and flower gardens, the largest on the island, are tended by children and enable them to learn about planting, growing and harvesting.
  • We proudly serve meals that are 100% local, organic, and vegan, ensuring that children enjoy nutritious, high-quality food that supports their growth and wellbeing.
  • By sourcing ingredients from our farm and other local producers, we reduce our environmental footprint while fostering connections with the community.
  • Our plant-based menu not only nurtures children’s bodies with wholesome, nutrient-rich meals but also instils an appreciation for sustainable food choices.
